# Staking

> Lock GHX on Ethereum, BNB Chain, or Solana for fixed-term APR up to 25%.

Staking lets you lock GHX for a fixed period and earn APR. It's the simplest way to put an existing position to work — no LP setup, no impermanent loss, no active management. Just deposit, hold, and claim.

## Where you can stake

## APR tiers

The headline rate is **25% APR** on the 12-month lock. Shorter locks earn proportionally less; flexible (no-lock) is lowest because liquidity stays with you.

  Locked stakes cannot be withdrawn before the lock expires. Pick a lock period only if you are comfortable with that liquidity constraint for the full duration.

  The advertised maximum APR (25%) assumes the relevant pool is fully subscribed. Effective APR depends on pool capacity and total staked at the time of entry. Always check current rates on the dashboard before committing.

## Picking a lock period

| Need the position liquid for trading or other use | **Flexible** — give up some yield for the option to exit |
| Want predictable yield over a quarter             | **3 months** — modest commitment, modest premium         |
| Are confident in a 6-month horizon                | **6 months** — yield jumps to 18%                        |
| Are happy to lock for a year for the highest rate | **12 months** — full 25% headline APR                    |
